Great Landscapes and Fantastic Portraits...Souvenir D'un Futur

I have only just recently been made aware of this Photographic Project by Laurent Kronenthal, I think it’s a most wonderful set of images that document a past vision of future living and the people that presently populate this future-past environment. The portraits are sublime and act as the memory within this ‘new-world’, their stature dwarfed by the architectural ideology of what the future was to behold.

Printing Your Own Portraits/Photos

https://filtergrade.com/printing-your-photos-to-become-a-better-photographer/

For a moment I thought this article was about actually getting into the Darkroom in order to print from a negative, unfortunately not! That, for me at least, was where all the magic happened and it is what drove me towards Photography while studying on my Art Foundation Course. It was the immediacy of the medium, not as immediate as a digital process, but definitely more magical. I miss the Darkroom and the Black and White Process; it was hands on and allowed you to physically place your mark onto the silver, you certainly could not beat a Black and White Portrait printed onto a heavy Fibre Based Paper Stock with an inkjet.

Sigma fp Mirrorless Compact Full Frame Camera

I think it may be time to enter the Mirrorless Camera Market, I like Sigma as a brand, their Art Lenses are fantastic, I own the 85mm 1.4 and I must say its one of my favourite lenses for portraiture. The Sigma fp seems to follow their ethos for attemtion to detail, and the video capabilities of this camera puts it at the topof my shopping list!

Case Study Video shot for Bouygeus UK and FIS at a Central London Location

Here is the final edit of a video we shot for Bouygeus UK and FIS. The case study involved a series of interviews with Bouygeus UK site managers who were asked to outline why they had chosen FIS as a supplier and partner in this development in Central London. Along with the video we also photographed a number of employee portraits, as well as product detailing.
