Travel Photography-Killing Thai-m

In this mini photo essay from my first trip to Thailand my intent was to photograph the 'natives' going about their everyday lives. I found Thailand to be, on the surface at least, a very open culture, and this aspect demanded my attention. I was drawn in, but at the same time I found it to be curiously repellent because of its cultural unfamiliarity. Cultural discombobulation is inspiring, and i guess it is the intoxicating cause, and effect, of the desire to 'be there'. For my return trip I would like to document the ex pat communities to ascertain whether true happiness exists in an apparent paradise, who knows, I might stay.
